Hi there!…Glad you´re here.

There is not enough space to share every amazing person that has helped me through my journey. I am grateful for people in my life that bring me new knowledge, silly interactions, heart-warming generosity, and spontaneous love.

One constant source of inspiration has been my mother, both a loving parent and a powerful role model. "Always, no matter what, be kind, Sheyene," she'd say. When I was young it didn’t mean as much as it means now; life has taught me that kindness is the cornerstone of everything worthwhile. And I believe that with all of my heart.

Since my parents’ death, my work is focused on one goal: honoring my family's legacy! In my case, it is not so much on how I could turn our company into a company of global scale, but it also means extending positive values, unwavering beliefs, and to make a conscious efforts to create something greater than myself; a legacy that benefits future generations even after I am out of the picture myself. It’s deeply personal.This belief has been the underlying basis for everything I’ve tried to do these past years… What has changed is the urgency for doing so at scale.

She is creating a series of robotics competitions, with the goal of replicating it on a global scale. The technological progress achieved through the robotics competitions will be funneled back to NASA missions. Her participation will facilitate her access to its cutting-edge scientific advances, enhancing the existing partnership.

Q: What the world needs now is...

A: We have extensive scientific evidence that we’ve entered the Anthropocene. Today, if we look at climate science, biodiversity research, air pollution, or health related risks like pandemics, we have ample evidence that we are approaching potential irreversible changes in the life support systems on earth, and even in the stability of the enFre planet.

I believe that this is a moment to step up and work together, all people, whether we are scientists or not, experts, stakeholders, policymakers, civil society, business leaders, not only in observing and monitoring the pathways towards a sustainable future, but also using that information to ship to a new paradigm to find the solutions is really paramount.

The NASA´s CLASS Planetary Landing Research Laboratory, a node of the Center for Lunar & Asteroid Surface Science (CLASS), was co-founded by Sheyene Gerardi in 2018.

The NASA-funded Center for Lunar and Asteroid Surface Science (CLASS) incorporates the NASA centers in the southeast (KSC and MSFC), a wide network of researchers, planetary scientists, geologists, geochemists, dynamicists, engineers, physicists and leading Institutions from across the world to facilitate NASA's exploration.

The NASA CLASS Planetary Landing Research Laboratory established by Sheyene, is composed of a dynamic partnership between the NASA Kennedy Space Center and NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, and is headed by UCF Pegasus Professor Daniel T. Britt.

NASA’s Center for Lunar and Asteroid Surface Science (CLASS) announced an expanded collaboration with Venezuelan actress Sheyene Gerardi to advance space robotics through visionary, global participation in space.

Sheyene Gerardi, a well-known Venezuelan soap opera star and model, has been appointed a member of NASA’s Center for Lunar and Asteroid Surface Science (CLASS) as the Lead for Robotics Outreach. This world-class institution of planetary scientists and space technologists invited Sheyene to join them because of her visionary work fusing space robotics technology development with humanitarian development on Earth.

Sheyene Gerardi is partnering with the Florida Space Institute at the University of Central Florida to bring Robotics education to South and Central American schools to serve unprivileged children...

...During this first phase, The team is creating educational videos, a robotics curriculum, a series of robotics competitions.

...To establish a pipeline to jobs, the team focuses on hands-on robotics culminating in a college-level competition styled after NASA’s highly successful Robotic Mining Competition (NASA RMC). The goal is that South and Central Americas winners will be able to compete in a global robotics championship with the winners of NASA RMC and similar competitions now forming across the globe. Bringing South American students into this community will create opportunities for employment, global partnerships, and establishment of new businesses in their home communities.
