I always believed that at some time fate would take from me the terrible effort and duty of educating myself. I believed that, at some point, I would discover a guru to educate me, a true guru with its fountain of role models and other building blocks of identity. Then I asked myself, what would be the principles by which he would educate you?
After the death of my parents, I pray every night. The reason I do so is to improve myself, to gain harmony with my principles. It reminds me that my mother and grandmother prayed in the same way. This ritual reminds me of them and puts me in a certain frame of mind for few minutes, and then I fall sleep. For me, God is a collection of principles and ideals.
I believe that the pursuit of wonder, understanding, and love can exist for itself. Even though we may not be eternal, it is these moments and feelings that connect us to the eternal. "Appearance" is a word that contains many temptations, which is why I try to avoid it as much as possible. “We hurt no-one, we kill no-one”, they claim. They think they are neutral because they limit themselves to applauding the show. I have a lot to learn from other people, that is an example of our perennial confusion of symbols with realities, the risk we take for being moral animals, perhaps.
I don't believe in charity, I believe in solidarity. Their charitableness is so perpendicular; it stares from the top to the ground. Solidarity is horizontal; it promotes unity and mutual support, solidarity is about valuing and respecting the other person.
