Celebrating empathy and solidarity in difficult times

During these challenging times, how can we help? We feel a responsibility to use our voice and resources to unite our broader community, and to use this moment to become stronger.

If you need help in your community, or if you are able to offer help this is for you! Sheyene Gerardi Foundation has started the implementation of a food program to help fragile communities facing shortages due to the effects of Covid pandemic, environmental issues, or humanitarian crises. The emergency food is provided to people in need through our network of partners in strategic locations across the countries.

It's pretty incredible to see so many caring individuals have contacted our foundation to contribute their time, talents and resources to help. The fantastic feature of this program is that is inherently collaborative and inherently based on the generosity of the individuals who support what we do and help us take care of our neighbors. It’s very gratifying to be involved in.

Ways to help

It’s going to require an active partnership between yourself and the vast network of organizations, governments, and the private sector. Our program is conducted by volunteers. You can donate or help to collect food, the point is to help in any way you can. The social service partners are typically schools or shelters in the area that receive and distribute the food. Whether it’s with time or food, or with your organization we need your support. That’s what community is all about.
