About the author

Sheyene Gerardi is a former actress; she was born in Caracas, the only child of a family of Italian and Brazilian descent. She received a master degree from NASA in 2018, and entered politics in 2020. She also loves to read and write, which she continues to do voraciously (mostly analytical psychology) and obsessively follows philosophy and ethics. 


Gerardi got her start in entertainment industry as a hobby in the early 2000s in parallel with her university medical studies. Around that time, a prominent TV producer discovered Sheyene leading to starring roles in highly rated prime time soap operas broadcasted internationally. Sheyene studied fine art through a scholarship given by RCTV for 4 years. She worked with renowned personal coaches in Venezuela and Mexico, where she had personalized formation and on-set coaching for each acting role for more than eleven years. She has received various accolades, such as the Emmy Award, 2 de Oro and the Image Award; she has also adds stellar credits in her role as a TV host and producer in international prime time shows after relocating to the United States. In general, art degrees usually fall under one of two categories: Fine arts or media arts. A degree in fine arts educate in artistic fields such as theatre, film, sculpture, painting, music, and other performing and visual arts. Examples of Fine Arts degrees include: exhibiting in galleries, performing in the theater, and making independent or feature films. The master’s and doctoral level will cover art history and the place of art in society, rather than the practice of hands-on skills. You can choose to specialize in a particular form of art, such as early 20th-century abstract paintings. With a degree in Art History, for instance, you might become a gallery owner, museum curator, adjunct art professor, or art critic. Sheyene is known for her work in more than 30 countries, her entertainment productions have been translated and dubbed into more than 15 languages. In 2018, she studied art history at the University Carlos III of Spain. She specialized in European Paintings: Leonardo to Rembrandt to Goya from 1400 to 1800. In Harvard University, she first studied Ancient Masterpieces of World Literature, which focuses on epics of the ancient world. And latter, she studied First Nights - Beethoven's 9th Symphony and the 19th Century Orchestra, which focuses in the history of music. In 2020, she published “hallucinations”, In this book, Sheyene invites readers into her world, introducing her provocative compositions and challenging themes. 


Mused is Sheyene’s latest work. This book includes an international roster of art exhibition venues. Mused is comprised of 18 key exhibitions, including several new series of experimental drawings, chosen from the plethora of exhibitions and art events curated by Sheyene Gerardi herself.
